Job summary

MGS Germantown is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to drive lean initiatives across the organization, from production floor to executive leadership.

You will coach site leaders, lead kaizen events, map value streams, develop roadmaps, and sustain improvements with standard work, visual management, and governance. This role may involve collaboration across global sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, operational excellence, continuous improvement, or lean transformation; multi-site or global manufacturing experience preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience managing people, project teams, lean practitioners, or cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt or Lean Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise lean manufacturing strategy across business units, functions, and global manufacturing sites.
• Coach plant leaders and cross-functional teams on lean journey through assessments, gap analysis, roadmaps, and action plans.
• Conduct lean maturity assessments and diagnostics to identify waste, bottlenecks, and opportunities across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and engagement.
• Develop and manage enterprise continuous improvement initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Facilitate kaizen events, value stream mapping, standard work, and visual management; lead governance reviews.
