Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sr Director Business System, Global to lead the design and rollout of the commercial part of the business system, focusing on end-to-end value streams and growth.

This role partners with senior executives, embedding Lean thinking, driving strategy, and building a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. 50–75% travel, based in UK/EU, with leadership across regions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required and 10–15 years of continuous improvement experience.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide Lean transformations with measurable impact.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership for the global business system.
• Oversee Lean Business System governance, tools, and dashboards.
• Partner with executives to set priorities and drive enterprise-wide improvements.
• Coach senior leaders to model Lean behaviors and sustain results.
• Deploy Lean techniques and change-management processes across regions.
