Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Senior Manager, Workforce Planning & Data Analytics to build and lead the enterprise workforce planning capability, anchoring Avantor's talent strategy in rigorous data and alignment to its transformation agenda.

Operating from the UK or Ireland, you will partner with global HR, Finance, and segment leadership—bringing analytical rigour to support senior leaders worldwide with dashboards, scenarios, and governance of the planning process.

Qualifications

Proven experience in workforce planning, people analytics, or HR data roles at manager level in a large global org.
Advanced analytical skills with Power BI/Tableau, Excel, and planning tools.
Experience with Workday and Workday Adaptive.
Experience supporting transformation, restructuring, or cost programs via workforce data.
Strong commercial acumen linking people data to P&L priorities.
Excellent stakeholder management with C-suite audiences across geographies.
Knowledge of UK and/or Irish employment law and data privacy (UK GDPR/EU GDPR).

Responsibilities

Lead global workforce planning cycle; build supply/demand models across segments, functions, geographies.
Translate goals into structured headcount and capability plans with senior leaders.
Develop scenario models for restructuring and transformation with rigorous business cases.
Design workforce planning framework, cadence, and governance aligned to operating model.
Monitor labour market trends to inform talent strategy.
