Job summary

Mondelez International seeks a Sr. Director - Global Law to lead NA and Global Procurement legal strategy for Supply Chain initiatives. Based in Chicago or East Hanover, you will guide negotiations with suppliers and drive risk-managed contracting across a global footprint.

You will manage a senior team, influence senior leaders, and advance contracting standards, governance, and templates in a fast-paced multinational environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years’ experience in a large, international law firm and multi-national corporate in-house legal department.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent legal degree; licensed to practice in the jurisdiction employed.

Responsibilities

• Drive legal solutions and enable business objectives in a risk-calibrated manner.
• Provide strategic legal counsel for NA Supply Chain initiatives and negotiations with global suppliers.
• Set the strategy for negotiations of commercial agreements with NA and global suppliers.
• Lead continuous improvement in contracting strategy, policies, and templates.
• Partner with Litigation lead to provide sound advice on negotiation strategies relating to contractual claims.
• Build and empower an inclusive, high performing team.
