Based in Chicago, IL or East Hanover, NJ, the role partners with senior business leaders to shape strategy, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement in contracting templates, processes and governance across a high‑stakes, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in a large, international law firm or multinational in-house legal department.
• J.D. or equivalent; licensed to practice in applicable jurisdiction.
• Deep expertise in U.S. and international contract law with supply chain negotiations.
• Experience guiding negotiations with global suppliers and cross-border transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of lawyers, including members in multiple regions, and oversee NA Supply Chain contracts.
• Set strategy for negotiations with NA and global suppliers; advise on contractual risk.
• Develop and improve contracting templates, processes, governance, and technology.
