Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Launch Project/Program Manager to coordinate cross-functional activities and support manufacturing readiness for commercial and clinical launches in the Seattle area.

The role focuses on developing launch plans, tracking milestones, and communicating status to leadership, while mitigating risks and ensuring alignment with quality and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with the Launch and Lifecycle Management Excellence Team is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, life sciences, business, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of project or program management experience.
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication, meeting facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating complex projects, launches, technology transfers, or lifecycle transitions; cell therapy is preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management tools; experience with OnePlan Portfolio Management and SmartLaunch is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle and experience operating within a regulated environment.
  • Project management training or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to support manufacturing readiness timelines for launches.
  • Develop, maintain, and track launch plans with milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and actions.
  • Prepare and communicate timely project status, decisions, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, document, and elevate launch risks and issues; support mitigation planning.
  • Initiate and coordinate global launch change control in the quality system; ensure documentation is complete.
  • Support operational excellence by applying launch processes, tools, templates, and best practices.
  • Support change management and adoption of new launch processes, tools, and systems.
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to improvements for future launches.
  • Provide backup coverage for launch activities and knowledge sharing within the team.
