Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead supplier relationships and drive automation initiatives in Last Mile operations.

You will collaborate with technical operations, engineering, and program teams to define sourcing strategies that meet cost and performance goals, while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. The role requires strong data analysis, contract management, and strategic sourcing experience, with a track record of delivering end-to-end program results

Qualifications

• :Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
• :Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
• :5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience
• :5+ years of strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis
• :Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• :Experience reviewing and understanding engineering design documents for electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical parts and assembly drawings
• :Experience creating an innovative global supply strategy for the organization resulting in a tangible benefit to the business
• :4+ years of program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process experience
• :Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• :Experience in program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process
• :Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships, performance, capacity planning, contracting, risk and cost/quality improvements.
• Collaborate with ops, engineering, and programs on NPI to align sourcing with technical capabilities, cost and objectives.
• Drive supplier continuous improvement and value engineering for performance metrics (quality, delivery, capacity, cost, safety).
• Monitor suppliers’ supply chain, manufacturing, and human capital with respect to program objectives.
• Develop and execute global commodity strategies aligning requirements with supplier capabilities.
• Develop alternate sourcing strategies to optimize costs and ensure continuity of supply.
