Job summary

Citi seeks a Director of Global KYC Process Reengineering & Simplification to lead a once-in-a-generation transformation of Know Your Customer operations globally. You will dismantle overengineered workflows, build a clean data foundation, and enable automation, analytics, and AI-driven decision technologies.

In this senior role, manage multi-country teams, partner with Technology and Compliance, and ensure alignment with AML/KYC regulations while delivering measurable productivity gains.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership of large, geographically dispersed teams in financial services.
• Experience delivering large-scale process transformation with automation/AI.
• Deep AML/KYC regulatory and quality control knowledge.
• Proven ability to secure executive alignment for enterprise-wide change.
• Strong analytical skills translating process data into actionable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic analyses of global KYC workflows across units and platforms.
• Design workshops with senior leaders to co-create simplified, future-state processes.
• Standardize procedures and architectures to absorb regulatory change and growth.
• Translate designs into intelligent workflow solutions including RPA and system integrations.
• Develop change management plans with training and adoption strategies.
• Define and govern KPIs for process quality, cycle time, and First-Time-Right outcomes.
