Job summary

Citi in Tampa, FL seeks a Director of Global KYC Process Reengineering & Simplification to lead a once-in-a-generation transformation of Know Your Customer operations worldwide. You will dismantle overengineered workflows, drive standardized data foundations, and partner with technology to deliver automation, AI, and decision-support capabilities at scale.

You will guide cross-functional teams through complex regulatory environments, shape the future operating model for a critical compliance

Qualifications

• 15+ years in operations, compliance or transformation in financial services.
• Experience delivering large-scale process transformations with automation/AI.
• Deep AML/KYC experience and regulatory knowledge.
• Strong senior-stakeholder relationship skills across business, compliance and tech.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable solutions.
• Outstanding communication skills at senior levels.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic analyses of global KYC workflows across units and tech platforms.
• Design and facilitate workshops with senior leaders to co-create simplified processes.
• Establish standardized operating procedures and scalable architectures.
• Partner with Technology to define automation requirements and implement RPA and integrations.
• Build data-friendly architectures enabling AI-driven decision support.
• Lead enterprise-wide change management with training and adoption plans.
• Define KPIs for quality, cycle time, errors, and First-Time-Right outcomes.
• Ensure alignment with AML/KYC regulations and risk controls.
