Job summary

Citi seeks a Director of Global KYC Process Reengineering & Simplification to lead a once-in-a-generation transformation of Know Your Customer operations on a global scale from Tampa. You will dismantle overengineered workflows, design standardized operating procedures, and partner with Technology, Product, and Compliance to deploy automation, including RPA, enabling a data-driven operating model.

You will drive change management across regions, establish KPIs for process quality and cycle time,

Qualifications

• 15+ years in operations, compliance, or transformation in financial services.
• Proven leadership of large, multi-country teams and large-scale programs.
• Deep AML/KYC domain knowledge across global regulatory regimes.
• Ability to build senior stakeholder relationships with cross-functional impact.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication at senior levels.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic analyses of current-state KYC workflows across global units and jurisdictions.
• Design and facilitate high-impact reengineering workshops with senior leaders.
• Standardize operating procedures and process architectures across regions.
• Define automation requirements and translate designs into intelligent workflow solutions (RPA, systems integration).
• Build data-focused architectures for advanced decision-support technologies.
• Lead enterprise-wide change management and training plans.
• Define and govern KPIs for process quality, cycle time, and First-Time-Right performance.
• Ensure alignment with AML, Sanctions, and KYC regulatory requirements.
