Job summary

Citi seeks a Director to lead the Global KYC End-to-End Process Reengineering & Simplification, driving a worldwide transformation of KYC operations. You will dismantle overengineered workflows, build a clean data foundation, and enable automation and advanced analytics across regions.

In this senior role, you will collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Business leaders to standardize processes and champion a data-first mindset, with strong governance and measurable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 15+ years in operations, compliance, or transformation in financial services.
• Experience managing AML/KYC in global regulatory environments.
• Proven leadership of large, multi-country teams.
• Track record delivering automation/AI-enabled efficiency gains.
• Strong senior stakeholder relationship skills across biz, compliance, tech.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostic analyses of current-state KYC workflows across global units and platforms.
• Design and facilitate workshops with senior leaders to co-create simplified processes.
• Establish globally standardized procedures and architectures for scalable workflows.
• Partner with Technology/Engineering to define automation requirements and integrations.
• Build data-ready architectures enabling predictive analytics and AI decision tools.
• Lead enterprise-wide change management with comms and training plans.
• Define and govern KPIs for process quality, cycle time, and First-Time-Right.
• Ensure redesigned processes align with AML/Sanctions/KYC regulatory requirements.
