Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL is seeking a Global Key Account Manager to sustain the global relationship and drive business development for the assigned customer. The GKAM acts as the main interface across multiple sites and leaders a global sales team from Raleigh or Gastonia, NC on site.

You'll coordinate strategy, pricing, contracts, and performance across regions, travel up to 30% domestically and internationally, and serve as the customer voice within M+H.

Qualifications

• 5 years sales, key account management in a relevant industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the dedicated customer strategy and align with the industry strategy.
• Ensure communication across all involved sites regarding global business activities and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate and set-up regular customer review meetings.
• Work with the customer on all product levels from standard to new developments.
• Initiate and lead the business acquisition process through quotation and decision phases.
• Check feasibility with technical, commercial, legal and timing dimensions with internal functions.
• Submit quotations and negotiate pricing with related Key Account Managers at global locations.
• Negotiate contracts such as Long Term Agreements and Warranty Agreements with alignment to legal.
• Manage customer performance ratings for delivery, quality and cost.
