Job summary

Palantir is seeking a Risk and Compliance Specialist - Global Trade to lead and scale a comprehensive trade compliance program. You will guide ITAR/EAR implementation, manage export licensing and related contracts, and provide regulatory guidance to engineering and product teams across our global operations.

You will own policies and training, oversee customer and supplier due diligence, and coordinate cross-functional risk initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience on a risk or compliance team
• Prior trade compliance experience for a U.S. defense contractor and/or SaaS with ITAR-controlled products
• Hands-on experience drafting and managing TAAs and other DDTC authorizations
• Experience conducting KYC or third-party due diligence in a fast-paced setting
• Proficiency with export control software and screening tools
• Eligible to access ITAR/EAR/CUI controlled materials
• Strong program/project management skills

Responsibilities

• Manage submission of U.S. government trade controls, registrations, authorizations, reports and license applications
• Provide regulatory guidance to product teams on ITAR/EAR implementation
• Adjudicate export control incidents and sanctions issues
• Conduct due diligence on third parties using compliance databases and public-record research
• Coordinate cross-functional risk initiatives across stakeholders
