Job summary

Palantir Technologies is seeking a Risk and Compliance Specialist - Global Trade to lead and scale a global trade compliance program. You will guide ITAR/EAR implementation, advise cross-functional teams, and manage export license processes while ensuring regulatory adherence across international operations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience working on a risk or compliance team.
• Must be eligible to access and work with US export-controlled and restricted materials, including ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and CUI.
• Expert knowledge and experience drafting and applying for export and import authorizations.
• Understanding of the overlap and distinctions between U.S. trade controls and U.S. Department of Defense CUI controls, and ability to assist with terms of use compliance for U.S. government-furnished CUI.
• Strong program/project management skills, including organizational skills and ability to handle projects with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage submission of U.S. government trade controls, licenses, and registrations.
• Provide regulatory guidance on ITAR/EAR, draft or negotiate trade compliance contract language, maintain ITAR/EAR/OFAC policies and training materials.
• Triage and respond to export control incidents and sanctions issues, including foreign national access to ITAR-controlled data.
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments on third-party entities using compliance databases and public-record research.
• Coordinate cross-functional risk initiatives spanning export controls, sanctions, and third-party integrity.
