Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to deliver end-user training and support for custom software solutions across CONUS and OCONUS locations. You will train users on client applications, peripheral device management, and applicable policies and procedures.

The role requires independent work, travel up to 75%, and excellence in presentations and technical documentation. A Secret Clearance and 5 years in Training/IT are preferred; Microsoft 365, MS Teams, Cisco Webex

Qualifications

• Experience delivering software applications training to end users in classroom, one-on-one, virtual settings
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally
• Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Productivity applications

Responsibilities

• Perform end-user training and support for custom software solutions in CONUS and OCONUS locations
• Train users on custom client applications, peripheral device management, and applicable policies and procedures
• Deliver one-on-one, small-group, large-group, virtual, and ad hoc training sessions
• Develop, organize, and deliver technical training and related materials
• Work with customer teams to establish training content and objectives
• Prepare training plans based on onsite database and workflow analysis
• Follow defined processes and document issues clearly
• Keep training materials aligned with current product features
• Provide daily status reports to management and customers during training activities
• Complete and submit reporting requirements on time
• Provide after-hours and weekend support for overseas or domestic training tasks as needed
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
