Job summary

Sumitomo Electric U.S.A. Holdings, Inc. in San Marcos, CA seeks a full-time IS Manager to lead IT strategy development and operations. You will supervise the IT team, coordinate with SEI groups, and manage projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, bilingual English/Japanese communication when needed, and extensive experience in IT management and ERP/CRM/MES systems. Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 annually and benefits vary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10–15 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Programming experience with Java, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, and/or VB.NET.
• Experience managing relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience implementing and managing business applications (ERP, CRM, MES).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with SEI to develop and execute business unit IT strategies.
• Supervise the IT team, including hiring, training, coaching, and discipline.
• Manage IT projects from planning through completion and reporting.
• Plan and implement process and procedure improvements.
• Track ROI and metrics; communicate status to management.
