Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the supply chain field, preferably in production planning and scheduling.
• Experience with computerized planning and purchasing software systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Able to perform mathematical functions such as fractions, unit conversions, and ratios.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with employees from all levels and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Create, process, maintain, and expedite work orders and purchase orders to maintain inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels and track order progress to ensure on-time delivery.
• Create and modify production schedules for operations.
• Attend scheduling meetings to resolve scheduling issues.
• Coordinate inventory replenishment with subcontractors.
• Perform daily and monthly inventory cycle counts.
• Update inventory levels with transfers and adjustments.
• Ensure work orders accuracy by reviewing discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with maintaining item database and related data.
• Review non-conforming reports and request quotes/samples from subcontractors.
• Communicate with Engineers, Product Management and Manufacturing to coordinate R&D, D&D and samples.
• Manage excess/slow-moving inventory and obsolete items.
• Perform routine clerical duties including data entry and filing.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Warehouse for accurate transactions.
