Job summary

Proxima is seeking a senior IT procurement professional to support delivery across client engagements and analytics-driven decisions. You will lead global teams, develop category strategies across IT Services, and drive complex sourcing initiatives from strategy through to implementation.

Responsibilities include analyzing spend and supplier structures, negotiating terms, and presenting clear insights to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in global IT procurement.
• Deep category expertise in IT Services (professional services, managed services, outsourcing, systems integration, app development).
• Strong knowledge of indirect procurement gained in consultancy or with consultants.
• Experience with IT Services commercial and delivery models (SOW, rate cards, T&M, fixed-price, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience leading complex IT Services sourcing initiatives and negotiations.
• Experience with major global/regional IT Services providers and multi-supplier environments.
• Experience managing spend portfolios, ideally >$50M annually.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage global teams across complex client engagements.
• Develop and execute category strategies across IT Services including professional and managed services, outsourcing, systems integration, and app development.
• Lead complex IT Services sourcing and commercial initiatives from strategy to contracting and implementation.
• Assess supplier landscapes, pricing, and terms to identify cost savings and value.
• Build structured analyses and present actionable insights to clients.
• Analyze IT Services spend, provider portfolios, rates, and models to identify savings and performance improvements.
• Support negotiations with market intelligence and benchmarks; develop robust business cases and benefits tracking.
• Communicate findings clearly to senior client stakeholders; lead workshops and key interactions.
• Operate in a global, hybrid environment, balancing client, home, and office work.
• Travel as required to support client delivery and team collaboration.
