Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an IT Project Manager II to support Foreign Military Sales IT and cybersecurity initiatives in a hybrid Tampa, FL setting. The role involves coordinating multi-vendor teams, managing integrated project plans, budgets, risks, and performance metrics for government and partner-nation customers.

The position requires experience with FMS programs, ITAR/EAR compliance, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 years of project/program management experience in complex technical or government programs.
Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs with international partners.
Knowledge of ITAR/EAR and export-control processes.
Experience managing scope, schedule, cost, risk, and deliverables throughout projects.
Strong written and verbal communication for status reports and briefings.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains integrated project management plans for IT and cybersecurity projects.
Leads multidisciplinary teams across engineering, cybersecurity, logistics and procurement.
Coordinates activities with U.S. Government and international stakeholders, vendors, and OEMs.
Monitors project performance and risks; implements corrective actions as needed.
Prepares project status reports, risk assessments, schedules, and executive briefings.
