Job summary

The Vertex Companies LLC is seeking a Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations to lead a global, hybrid IT organization across the US, UK, and UAE. The role reports to the CTO and focuses on aligning technology strategy with business goals, driving cloud transformations, cybersecurity improvements, and cost-efficient service delivery.

Ideal candidates have deep hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 / E5, Azure, and enterprise networking, plus strong program management capabilities and a track

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12 years of related experience or a Master's degree and 8 years of related experience, and at least 5 years in management.
• Proven experience managing onshore and offshore teams and MSPs.
• Experience leading hybrid IT environments with cloud, security, and end-user services.
• Security frameworks exposure (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA) and vendor contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global hybrid IT organization across onshore, offshore, and MSP partner teams.
• Drive cloud transformation, cybersecurity enhancements, and digital modernization.
• Own the IT project portfolio with budgeting, governance, and resource allocation.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting on performance and costs.
• Build strategic partnerships with executive stakeholders and vendors.
