Job summary

MGS Mfg. Group in Germantown, WI, seeks a Manager of Enterprise IT Infrastructure to lead global infrastructure services, overseeing data centers, servers, storage, networking, cloud, and security.

You will partner with regional IT, applications, cybersecurity, and business leaders to align infrastructure with MGS priorities. The role demands strong leadership, Microsoft/virtualization expertise, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects, drive improvements, and ensure business continuity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience/education.
• 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience including data centers, networking, servers, storage, cloud, and security.
• 1+ year of experience leading IT infrastructure teams.
• Deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, virtualization, cloud environments, and related infra tech.
• Experience with firewalls, endpoint security, backup/recovery, and DR planning.
• Strong people-management and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of ITIL and cybersecurity requirements; regulated medical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise infrastructure function and coach assigned professionals.
• Own service performance, capacity, lifecycle, recoverability, and SLAs.
• Develop infrastructure strategy, architecture, and roadmaps aligned with IT strategy and priorities.
• Oversee data centers, servers, storage, networking, cloud services, and unified communications.
• Monitor performance, lead incident resolution, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Evaluate technologies and approaches to improve infrastructure services.
• Design and document architectures consistent with standards and manage changes.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and cost control.
• Lead modernization of cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Coordinate with regional IT, applications, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders.
• Communicate risks, changes, and roadmaps to stakeholders and management.
• Prepare progress, performance, budget, forecast, and risk reports.
