Job summary

Amazon's Global Procurement Organization (GPO) seeks an experienced Category Manager to lead global sourcing for IT/Tech Hardware and related services. You will manage a broad portfolio of end-user computing devices, peripherals, and support contracts across Amazon's global operations, driving cost savings and supplier performance.

You will partner with IT, Finance, Legal, Operations and business leaders to develop category strategies, lead sourcing events, and ensure regulatory and supplier

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL knowledge.
3+ years of strategic sourcing and category management in indirect categories.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders across large organizations.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute global category strategies for IT hardware and services.
Lead sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs, auctions) and contract negotiations.
Manage strategic supplier relationships and track KPI performance.
Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Operations and business leads globally.
Analyze spend data and drive cost savings and supplier risk mitigation.
Ensure compliance with contracts and procurement policies.
