Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior IT Deployment Program Manager to lead end-to-end IT projects that support global fulfillment operations. You will coordinate with stakeholders, manage scope, budget and timelines, and travel frequently to install and launch facilities across regions.

You will interact with IT management to develop products, service standards and enable operations, acting as the single contact for project teams and ensuring successful handovers and launch milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
• Experience with networks, IT infrastructure, or system integration.
• PMI PMP or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage IT projects from beginning to end, including scope, timeline, capacity planning, resource allocation, and execution.
• Provide project direction with clear timelines, risks, escalation paths and roles.
• Act as escalation point for the project team and stakeholders.
• Maintain hardware and equipment standards for procurement.
• Manage change control, risks, issues, and contingency plans.
• Identify dependencies and critical paths.
• Plan and schedule timelines and milestones.
• Track milestones, deliverables and risks.
• Monitor installation schedules and vendor quality onsite.
• Facilitate turnover with onsite team and monitor deliverables to launch.
• Collaborate daily with stakeholders and document critical processes.
