Job summary

Ford is seeking a Director, Global IT Audit to provide leadership across Ford Automotive, Credit, and EVDD domains, with exposure to AI, connected vehicle, and SaaS implementations. The role interfaces with CIO and CISO and drives risk-based audits across technology domains.

As part of audit modernization, the team emphasizes innovative approaches and collaboration with a large global audit group. Up to 25% travel is expected across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering required.
• 5+ years of technology audit or information security experience.
• 10+ years in software design and delivery, including software engineering and security controls.
• Audit certifications (CIA, CISA and/or CISSP) preferred.
• 10+ years leading global and diverse teams.
• 5+ years supplier relationship management experience.
• Experience transforming a global audit team is critical.
• Experience addressing AI risks with continuous monitoring and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s processes to analyze technology risks.
• Conduct benchmarking across industries and participate in ISACA/IIA forums.
• Research industry trends in automotive, AI, cybersecurity, and audits.
• Perform risk assessments, develop audit plans, execute work, and prepare reports.
• Develop a risk-based technology audit plan and execute procedures across applications and tech.
• Support transformation initiatives with pilots of new processes and audit responses.
• Identify areas of business initiatives and assess impact on internal audit.
• Collaborate with a global audit team of 100+ people.
• Interact with Cyber Defense, internal controls and Security Policy teams.
• Develop aligned risk taxonomy and risk universe for Internal Audit Group.
