Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Associate Paralegal to support global trademark management, including filings, maintenance, and enforcement. You will coordinate with in‑house attorneys and foreign associates on worldwide matters and assist with IP due diligence and transactional work.

This role offers exposure to Madrid Protocol filings, brand protection initiatives, and collaboration across a global team in a dynamic biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in law or paralegal field.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years paralegal/legal assistant experience or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree plus 6 years paralegal/legal experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma and 8 years paralegal/legal experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage worldwide trademark filings including prosecution and maintenance.
• Prepare Madrid Protocol and other trademark documents.
• Coordinate with foreign associates on prosecution and enforcement.
• Review watch notices and advise on enforcement actions.
• Handle responses to office actions, oppositions, and disputes.
• Assist with IP due diligence, M&A, and transactional matters.
