Entegris, Inc. is seeking a Director of Intellectual Property to serve as a principal advisor on IP strategy, guiding critical decisions that affect long-term innovation and competitive position.

The role partners with executive leadership, R&D, and external stakeholders to align IP with business objectives and technology investments. The role oversees invention harvesting, filing strategy, and portfolio management across U.S.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Registered Patent Attorney status strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise executive leadership on IP strategy, risk management, and portfolio optimization for critical business units.
• Develop enterprise-wide IP strategies that support growth and innovation priorities.
• Architect approaches to complex IP matters with incomplete information and high impact.
• Lead patent, trade secret, licensing, and technology transfer matters across the company.
• Drive IP strategy for emerging technologies and future initiatives.
• Anticipate regulatory and competitive developments affecting IP position.
