Job summary

Entegris, Inc. seeks a Director of Intellectual Property to act as a senior IP advisor, aligning IP strategy with business goals and technology investments. You will drive invention harvesting, portfolio management, and high-stakes patent matters across global teams.

You will partner with executive leadership, R&D, and external stakeholders, while mentoring IP professionals and representing Entegris in external engagements. JD, US bar, and patent attorney status are required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Registered Patent Attorney status preferred.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead patent, trade secret, licensing, technology transfer, and dispute-related matters across the company.
• Develop and lead enterprise-wide IP strategies supporting long-term growth and differentiation.
• Architect approaches to complex IP issues where information is incomplete and risks are high.
• Protect and maximize value of IP assets across global operations.
• Direct and mentor patent agents, outside counsel, and internal teams.
