Job summary

Aquatic Capital Management in New York seeks an Investor Relations & Marketing professional to raise capital and strengthen the firm’s reputation with institutional investors worldwide. You will lead investor communications, develop marketing materials, and travel to meet investors across the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

This role requires 6+ years in IR or institutional sales, a strong network, and the ability to translate the investment strategy to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years in investor relations, capital raising, or institutional sales.
• Proven track record raising capital from institutional investors.
• Established network of institutional investor relationships; international ties preferred.
• Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies and ability to communicate investment approach.
• Experience producing investor materials and reporting.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Experience marketing quantitative or systematic trading strategies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to raise new capital, focusing on international investors.
• Identify and develop prospective investors through networks.
• Meet and build relationships with existing investors and assess allocations.
• Lead all investor communications, presentations, and meetings, incl. marketing materials.
• Develop and refine the firm's marketing strategy for fundraising beyond short-term needs.
• Represent the firm at industry events and travel to meet investors worldwide.
• Staff investor meetings with sensitivity to investor history and needs.
• Provide feedback on investor requirements and market appetite to guide strategy.
