Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking a Global Inventory Strategy & Optimization Lead to coordinate inventory governance across regions in a Make‑to‑Order environment.

You will build analytics, establish inventory policies, and lead the Allocation Board while partnering with operations, finance, and planning teams. This hybrid role requires 15% travel and can be based in Allentown, PA or Chandler, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of supply chain planning experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP planning solutions and MRP systems.
• Familiarity with APO SNP & PPDS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead global inventory strategy and governance, balancing service, working capital, and risk.
• Develop inventory analytics, dashboards, and KPI scorecards for executive review.
• Coordinate regional planning and ensure standardized inventory practices.
• Manage material risk, allocations, and cross‑functional decision alignment.
