You will mentor staff, handle complex issues, and coordinate with global teams to deliver outcomes that meet client needs.

The role requires a CPA or JD, five years of international tax experience, and the ability to travel up to 15%.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Requires one of the following: CPA or JD.
• Requires a minimum of five years of experience in public accounting with a focus in International Tax.
• Comprehensive understanding of tax law/rules and implications.
• Experience with International Tax compliance including forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858 and 1118.
• Working knowledge of inbound and outbound structure planning, foreign tax credits, worldwide tax minimization planning, transfer pricing analysis, and ASC 740.
• Strong technical skills in accounting, tax preparation and review within the international taxation environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Aufgaben

• Serve as a Performance Advisor, mentor or coach to one or more employees, providing honest and timely performance feedback (10–20% of time).
• Work on multiple complex issues and communicate non-technically to facilitate client-service team understanding and risk management.
• Advise clients on a full spectrum of International Tax services including planning, research, compliance, M&A activities and transfer pricing.
• Review US international information reporting forms.
• Review quantitative analysis and projects of international tax professionals.
• Collaborate with RSM member firms around the world.
• Assist with new business development and value recognition for existing clients.
• Manage corporate international client needs with tax services and federal/state compliance.
• Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
• Other duties as assigned.
