Job summary

AIG is seeking a Manager, Internal Communications to join our global Internal Communications team. Based in New York City, this role partners with HR and Legal & Compliance to develop and execute communications that inform and engage colleagues across the enterprise.

You will lead strategy for Talent and Inclusion programs, collaborate with Corporate Citizenship, and craft content for intranet, events, and leadership communications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing internal communications in a global company.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related field.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications strategies for Talent and Inclusion priorities.
• Collaborate with Corporate Citizenship to communicate volunteerism and giving initiatives.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance on employee-facing initiatives and policies.
• Create high-quality content for intranet and other channels.
• Build relationships with HR, Legal, Global Marketing and Communications and other partners.
• Support organizational change, culture and colleague engagement initiatives.
• Plan and execute events such as Town Halls and leadership meetings.
• Use metrics to assess effectiveness and provide data-informed recommendations.
