Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a strategic Global Internal Communications Manager to lead internal communications across a large, complex organization. You will shape and implement a global strategy to keep employees informed, engaged, and connected to priorities during growth and transformation.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, manage executive communications, and guide content across intranet, email, and presentations while driving channel optimization and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field.
• 7+ years in internal/employee/executive communications in a large organization.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling tailored to audiences and channels.
• Experience developing communications strategies and integrated plans across platforms.
• Experience advising senior leaders and communicating in fast-moving, high-visibility situations.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management for change communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital platforms like SharePoint; analytics and visuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications strategies aligned with business priorities and employee engagement needs.
• Partner with senior leaders to craft clear communications around strategy and updates.
• Provide executive communications support for town halls, leadership messages, and change initiatives.
• Create, edit, and distribute content across intranet, email, presentations, and employee stories.
• Oversee daily management of internal channels, editorial calendars, and site maintenance.
• Coach internal comms team while partnering with HR and project teams for audience-specific messaging.
• Measure effectiveness and support meetings, events, and process improvements.
