Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks an experienced Internal Communications Lead for the Service BU to guide global employee communications across ~60 countries.

You will translate complex business topics into clear messaging, support leadership communications, and drive employee engagement and participation using digital, data, and AI-enabled approaches. Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in internal, employee, corporate, or change communications.
• Experience developing internal comms strategies within a complex global matrix organization.
• Ability to translate complex business topics into clear communications for diverse employee audiences.
• Experience using communications data and employee insights to improve engagement and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a global internal communications approach, including editorial direction, communications planning, and engagement activities.
• Translate business strategy, transformation initiatives, growth ambitions, and priorities into clear employee communications.
• Advise senior leadership on communications during periods of growth, transformation, and change.
• Develop communications that turn strategy, performance, customer priorities, and transformation activities into accessible employee stories.
• Deliver communication campaigns, employee recognition activities, leadership dialogue, and engagement initiatives.
• Foster two-way communication by creating opportunities for employee feedback, dialogue, recognition, and participation.
• Enhance employee communications through digital, data, and AI-enabled approaches.
• Establish and use measures of communication effectiveness to improve engagement across the global organization.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
