Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Communications Manager to partner with Optical Communications’ business units to develop, manage, and distribute global internal and executive communications. You will leverage strategic tools to inform, inspire, and engage internal audiences, reporting to the Global Business Communications Manager.

You will help craft narratives, support executive communications, and collaborate across functions to ensure consistent messaging and brand integrity worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience working on business communications for a large organization.
• Writing skills in creative, business-like style for print, electronic, and various other media.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
• Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies to align business units with goals and objectives.
• Research, interview, write, edit, and post content in multiple formats for various vehicles.
• Collaborate with the Communications team on strategic narratives and brand building.
• Draft communications from executives, including emails, scripts, talking points, Q&A, and speeches.
• Coordinate internal meetings, updates, events, and logistics.
