Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Supply Chain Group Manager focused on interior cockpit components (such as instrument panels, center consoles, door panels, etc.). The Group Manager will lead a global team of supply chain professionals and interface with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality and Manufacturing to deliver world-class products on time and at cost.

The role requires 8+ years in procurement/sourcing/supply chain, a technical or engineering background, and proven product launch

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Technical/Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or related field.
8+ years Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing or Engineering experience on relevant commodity.
Product launch experience from design concept to production (not limited to automotive industry).
Understanding of quality principles, product development processes, and data analysis.
Able to show teamwork to resolve problems and a thought process to drive successful solutions.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Creative, calculated risk taker with the ability to manage complex suppliers and resolve disputes while preserving relationships with suppliers and internal staff.
Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee a team of global supply managers focused on interior cockpit components.
Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality and Manufacturing to deliver world class products on time and cost effectively.
Establish global supply chain strategy and support cross-functional teams during development and industrialization phases.
Create RFQs, review quotations, and develop sourcing and business recommendations.
Negotiate contracts including parts pricing, tooling costs and Engineering Services.
Release parts into production and issue POs for prototypes/production parts and tooling.
Manage supplier development and tooling timelines; address delays or problems.
Maintain supplier relationships and report on sourcing status, parts availability and cost status.
Travel 15-25% to visit suppliers for business and program reviews.
