Job summary

PwC in the United States seeks an International Tax - Insurance - Senior Associate to support tax planning, compliance, and strategy for multinational insurance clients. You will analyze complex tax issues, build client relationships, and mentor junior team members while upholding professional standards.

You will interpret client facts, develop deliverables, and communicate findings on cross-border structuring and international tax laws to help manage tax risk and optimize global tax positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in tax or insurance tax.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment (bar or other credentials may qualify).

Responsibilities

• Analyzing international tax laws and regulations for insurance clients to support cross-border structuring and compliance planning.
• Developing tax positions addressing base erosion and profit shifting considerations, CFC rules, and foreign tax credit impacts.
• Preparing and reviewing tax research, memoranda, and supporting documentation for global tax structure projects.
• Interpreting client fact patterns and identifying tax implications tied to insurance operations, transactions, and reorganizations.
• Coordinating deliverables across assigned workstreams while aligning with scope, deadlines, and technical requirements.
• Communicating findings and recommendations to client teams and internal stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Applying analytical thinking and digital tools to assess scenarios, compare alternatives, and support informed recommendations.
• Mentoring junior team members by reviewing work products and sharing technical knowledge.
