Job summary

Fluidstack, based in New York, seeks an experienced Insurance Program Manager to own the corporate property, construction, liability and cargo programs. You will lead broker selection, placement, renewal and budgeting, coordinating with legal, finance, and site operations.

You will drive claims to resolution, oversee risk engineering across gigawatt-scale data center projects, ensuring contracts embed correct coverage and managing deadlines.

Qualifications

• You have managed commercial property and casualty insurance programs, on corporate risk management or brokerage sides.
• You have run claims to resolution coordinating counsel, TPAs, adjusters, and carriers.
• You have performed on-site risk engineering and translated recommendations into fixes.
• You have built renewal submissions under hard deadlines with large exposure data.
• You read contracts for insurance terms and catch gaps between requirements and policy coverage.
• You explain insurance concepts clearly to engineers, lawyers, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own every insurance program end to end across property, construction, liability, and cargo.
• Lead claims from first notice to resolution coordinating brokers, TPAs, carriers, and Legal.
• Drive loss control and risk engineering across operating sites and construction projects.
• Gather and analyze exposure data and ensure on-time renewal submissions.
• Set insurance requirements in leases, EPC contracts, and vendor/customer agreements.
