Job summary

Fluidstack in Seattle seeks a policy affairs expert to own Fluidstack's state and local policy agenda across AI infrastructure, energy, and utilities. You will draft testimony, regulatory comments, briefing documents, and coalition communications to advance Fluidstack’s objectives.

You will build relationships with state legislators, governors’ offices, regulators and advocacy groups, coordinating with site development and utilities teams on permitting and interconnection.

Qualifications

• Understanding of political dynamics in digital infrastructure, energy, land use, water use, and technology regulations.

Responsibilities

• Own Fluidstack's state and local policy agenda across AI infrastructure, tax incentives, utilities, resource use, and more.
• Draft and deliver policy materials independently: testimony, regulatory comments, briefing documents, and coalition communications that land with technical and political audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with state congressional leaders, governor’s offices, regulators, and advocacy groups to ensure Fluidstack’s perspective is communicated clearly.
