Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Inspection Systems Engineer to drive improvements in vision inspection, leak and metal detection, and other automated quality systems across its global manufacturing network. The role partners with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and OEMs to raise performance, reliability, and standardization of inspection platforms.

Candidates should have an engineering degree and proven ability to troubleshoot complex equipment, with travel up to 50-60% to support sites worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field; practical experience may be considered.
• Experience supporting inspection systems, automation systems, quality systems in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support inspection systems across manufacturing sites, including vision inspection, leakage/metal detection, and other automated quality platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex inspection issues, lighting, cameras, sensors, and interfaces to improve performance.
• Coordinate with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Automation teams to improve capability and reliability.
• Assist with commissioning, validation, and handoff of new or upgraded inspection systems.
