Job summary

VSP Vision Care seeks a Sr Innovation Principal to lead the Global Innovation Center's strategic efforts, translating trends into opportunities across healthcare, manufacturing, retail and technology. You will guide cross‑functional teams through design, testing and pilot execution while shaping business models and value cases.

You will build senior stakeholder relationships, document insights, and mentor colleagues, maintaining a culture of innovation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; master’s or PhD preferred.
Minimum 8 years in Innovation, Emerging Technology, R&D, Product Design, or related domains.
Experience in healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and technology is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
Ability to lead projects and drive measurable outcomes in complex environments.

Responsibilities

Lead and advise multiple project teams on design, execution, and pivot decisions.
Identify problems, hypotheses, and testing methods to validate assumptions.
Design initiatives requiring concept testing, user research, and iterative development.
Monitor trends and translate them into actionable insights and pilots.
Establish relationships with internal/external partners and represent GIC at events.
Document learnings and inform future innovation initiatives and business decisions.
