Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management LLC in New York seeks an Associate to support fundraising for infrastructure and energy transition funds. You will work closely with FMT leadership, interfacing investors and internal partners to design fundraising strategies and coordinate activities across all stages of the lifecycle.

The role requires 4+ years in private fund fundraising, strong global stakeholder management, and solid financial analysis skills.

Qualifications

Post graduate degree in finance, business management or another relevant discipline.
4+ years of fundraising experience for private fund strategies.
Strong global stakeholder management across regions and investor types.
Solid financial analysis and investment reporting experience.
Experience in infrastructure or energy transition assets preferred.
Institutional fund marketing and support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the fundraising lifecycle for infrastructure and energy transition funds, coordinating stakeholders across the organization.
Develop and implement fundraising strategy to generate investor interest and momentum with Client Relationship Managers.
Monitor and adjust fundraise strategy as market conditions change.
Facilitate decisions throughout fundraising with all stakeholder groups.
Prepare fundraise updates and participate in leadership meetings as required.
Coordinate communication with legal, compliance, finance and investment teams.
