Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management is seeking a New York-based professional to support the origination, execution and management of infrastructure credit investments within the Brookfield Infrastructure Group. The role offers exposure to a premier investment platform and opportunities across infrastructure opportunities.

You will perform comprehensive due diligence, build complex financial models, and interact with management teams and investors while contributing to fundraising and risk assessment

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in Investment Banking or equivalent
• Experience in credit investing and/or project finance preferred
• Strong Excel and complex modelling abilities

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence including project finance, credit and valuation analyses
• Develop and review detailed financial models
• Conduct asset, corporate and industry research
• Prepare materials for the fund's investment committees and third parties
• Source and screen new investment opportunities
• Monitor new and existing investments
• Interact with management teams and fund investors
• Assist in fundraising workstreams
• Assess legal risks and review legal documentation
