Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial banking or finance with significant credit, tax equity, infrastructure/energy project finance experience, and data center financings.
• Master's Degree (MBA) or equivalent, with strong financial modeling and analysis skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex, project-oriented transactions and mentor junior associates.

Responsibilities

• Partners with relationship management and product partners to assess clients' credit needs and create solutions
• Leads loan structure conversations and negotiates loan documentation with clients and internal/external legal partners
• Drives credit and risk approval processes for new credit originations, renewals, increases, and modifications
• Leads ongoing monitoring efforts for a portfolio of clients in compliance with regulations, policy and procedure
• Drives the growth of funded loans and revenue while mitigating risks, maintaining asset quality and adhering to regulatory requirements
• Serves as an escalation point for complex credit transactions
• Mentors and supports associates
• Lead the underwriting and documentation of project finance and other credit facilities, ensuring alignment with client needs and the bank's risk/return objectives
• Lead the financial modeling, loan structure, industry, economic, and other analyses to support the loan decision-making process
• Conduct research and develop comprehensive credit approval packages, including written transaction justification and supporting documentation
