Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee complex international clinical programs for infectious diseases.

You will coordinate across many sites, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure milestones are met throughout the study lifecycle. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of experience in multicenter or international clinical research, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders across DoD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science field; a master’s is preferred.
• Experience managing multicenter or international clinical studies.
• Knowledge of federal budgeting and project management basics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project lead for assigned studies, managing timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
• Primary contact with PI, researchers, sponsors, and clinical operations groups.
• Develop and implement project plans, refine targets, and monitor life-cycle progress.
• Coordinate international study teams, including clinicians, data managers and staff.
• Organize meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes and action items.
• Assess risks and propose mitigations; monitor outcomes with leadership input.
• Develop, track and manage budgets; prepare statements of work.
• Liaise with finance and grants for forecasting and reporting activities.
• Review financial reports and provide analyses to leadership.
• Manage collaboration agreements and support CRADA/MTA/NDA/Data Use proposals.
