Advanced Energy, a global leader in precision power conversion, seeks an Indirect Tax Senior Manager to lead the US indirect tax function from Denver, CO. You will drive tax policy, governance, and compliance while coordinating with IT, Finance, and business leaders to support global growth.

Responsibilities include managing tax auditors and technology, optimizing processes, and advising senior management on tax risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles for indirect tax matters.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Proven success influencing senior leadership and driving enterprise-level decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the US indirect tax function, establishing policies, controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Manage internal staff and external service providers on sales, use, property, excise taxes, and related obligations.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on indirect tax risks, opportunities and expansions.
• Oversee tax technology implementations, system configuration, and data quality improvements.
• Lead audits and manage relationships with tax authorities; ensure timely reporting and remittance.
