Northwood Space is a modern space infrastructure company building a global network of phased array ground stations to enable real-time, reliable satellite communications.

We seek an Indirect Commodity Manager to develop and execute global sourcing strategies across a broad portfolio of indirect spend, partnering with Engineering, Facilities, Operations, Finance, and Legal to optimize cost, quality, service, and risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5-8+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or commodity management experience.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Demonstrated success managing indirect procurement categories.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing and category strategies for indirect spend, including services and facilities.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives from market assessment through contract negotiation and implementation.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, terms and conditions, and long-term supplier contracts with Legal oversight.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, Finance, and other leaders to support capital projects and operational needs.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships with performance reviews and risk mitigation.
• Analyze spend and supplier performance to identify cost savings and total cost of ownership reductions.
