Job summary

Methode Electronics, Inc. is seeking a senior leader to develop and execute a global indirect sourcing strategy across MRO, facilities, IT licensing, software lifecycle, PLM, and related supply chain systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing, with at least 5 years in a global leadership role focused on indirect categories.
• Deep expertise across indirect spend areas (MRO, facilities, IT licensing, software lifecycle, PLM, M&E, supply chain systems).
• Proven ability to develop and lead global category strategies that drive cost savings, supplier performance, innovation, and risk mitigation.
• Strong experience managing strategic supplier relationships and leading complex negotiations in a global environment.
• Fluent ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and align procurement initiatives with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of global category strategies for indirect spend areas.
• Identify sourcing opportunities, segment suppliers, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure strategies align with goals, budgets, and stakeholder priorities; establish KPIs.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships and lead complex negotiations.
• Partner with IT, Engineering, Facilities, Operations, Finance, and Legal to drive value and digital transformation.
• Champion procurement analytics and drive cost ownership across categories.
