Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking an experienced Medical Director/Clinical Development Lead to translate the Target Product Profile into a robust Clinical Development Plan for a specific indication. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to safeguard time, quality, and budget while maximizing asset potential.

The ideal candidate holds an MD with 3–5 years in pharma/biotech, excellent English, and proven leadership in a global environment. Travel readiness is required.

Qualifications

• MD with deep understanding of end-to-end drug development (phase I to registration).
• 3–5 years of pharma/biotech experience in a leadership or senior medical role.
• Excellent English, written and spoken; ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical strategic insight and planning across development stages for the indication.
• Line-manage Global Clinical Trial Physicians and coach high performers.
• Provide real-time medical oversight to studies and communicate with management.
• Ensure harmonised communications to external stakeholders and internal teams.
• Lead indication medical advisory boards as appropriate.
• Help build and maintain a best-in-class development medical doctors group.
• Ensure compliance of all studies in the indication.
