Ingenics is seeking an experienced Intercontinental Inbound Logistics Engineer to design, implement, and optimize international inbound transportation networks. The role focuses on ocean freight and international air transport, driving cost, service, and lead times improvements across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience in logistics engineering, transportation network design or supply chain optimization in complex global contexts.
• Hands-on experience with intercontinental transportation, especially ocean freight and international air freight.
• Strong knowledge of routing, consolidation, delivery frequency, capacity planning, transit and lead times.
• Experience with TMS, MRP, logistics systems and transportation data for decisions.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; translate data into actions.
• Advanced Excel skills for cost, volumes, utilization, and KPIs.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint to convey data-driven findings; Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to understand processes and contribute with limited onboarding.
• Strong communication, coordination, and cross-functional skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize intercontinental inbound networks across ocean and air freight.
• Develop routes, frequencies, consolidation strategies, and network parameters.
• Lead new lane implementations, carrier changes, and supplier relocations.
• Support go-lives and stabilization of new logistics setups.
• Analyze performance vs. planned transit times and identify improvements.
• Recommend transit-time adjustments balancing cost, service, and inventory.
• Align transportation and lead-time parameters across planning systems.
• Forecast rolling volumes and coordinate carrier capacity with ops teams.
• Monitor KPIs: fill rate, utilization, transit time, lead time, frequency, and costs.
• Develop end-to-end transport solutions with feasible business cases.
• Translate logistics cost drivers into concrete network improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and suppliers to implement solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in transportation and supply chain challenges.
