Hanwha Q CELLS Georgia Inc. seeks a Logistics Transportation Specialist to manage drayage and inbound shipping.

You will oversee raw material shipments from overseas, coordinating NVOCCs and container carriers, and ensure cost targets and service levels are met while driving process improvements. The role covers transport from Savannah/LA ports to the Cartersville plant, sourcing trucking firms, and bidding to reduce costs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, SCM, business management or related fields.
• 3+ years of logistics and transportation experience.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation and customs.
• Ability to travel overseas and domestically.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced, professional environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks for project schedules and deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and track in-transit raw material inventory from overseas to factory arrival.
• Track, operate, and monitor materials across truck, rail, sea, and air modes.
• Analyze route diversification by lead time.
• Process all import transport orders and daily transport plans.
• Create and share shipping reports with accuracy checks.
• Monitor and manage procurement and shipment from origin.
• Check vessel space for on-time shipment daily.
• Source reliable LSPs and bid to reduce cost.
• Conduct weekly stock counting and promote usage within shelf life.
• Monitor CY free-time to prevent demurrage/detention costs.
• Create transportation reports and present to supervisors weekly/monthly.
• Communicate with forwarders and truck carriers.
• Set and track transportation KPIs monthly.
